It is said that we stand on the shoulders of those who came before us. I came across a book about Mr. Pollock and his art last year. Reading if from cover to cover I made up my mind that I was going to make art, for me, not for anyone else but because I always wanted to. And since last winter I have, and the walls in my small Bronx apartment shows the proof.
